Dr. Lorne Lavine has spent over 20 years in the dental and dental technology fields. A 1988 graduate of Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry, he received the Alpha Omega Award for graduating with the highest GPA. He also earned the Pierre Fauchard Award for his contributions to research and literature. After a residency at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, he completed his periodontal and implant training at the University of Washington. He practiced in South Burlington, Vermont before relocating to California in 2002. He is a CompTia Certified A+ Computer Repair Technician and CompTia Network + certified as well.
Dr. Lavine writes and lectures across the country. He is the monthly technology columnist for Dental Economics, and moderator of the Computer and Software Forums for DentalTown Magazine. His articles have also appeared in Dentistry Today, Dental Equipment and Materials, Dental Practice Report, New Dentist, and Dental Angle Online. He has lectured to the American Academy of Periodontology, the Townies at the DentalTown Extravaganza, and numerous state dental societies and study clubs.
